Our machine-filled auto-injector platforms are designed to accommodate cartridges that can be filled with unit doses using conventional high-speed parenteral drug cartridge filling equipment. The fluid flow path is integrated into the nose assembly; there is no need to handle a needle in the final assembly process. The fluid path is sealed from the outside environment and can be sterilized using EtO. Our rigorous qualification testing has demonstrated that once sterilized, the fluid flow path remains sterile, despite being exposed to standard ISTA ship testing and strenuous environmental challenges. The cartridge can be installed into the auto-injector – a simple drop in, snap together process – at any time. This design offers a world of options for the logistics of marrying drug and delivery, and is built around the same Never see the needle™ device mechanism as used in our ConfiDose™ line of products
