Confi·Dose™ is
a new auto-injector designed to enable you to safely, easily, and
quickly self-administer approved injectable drugs. By simply pushing
a button, Confi·Dose™ instantly inserts a small needle
into the injection site to a predetermined depth, delivers a personalized
dose of medicine with little discomfort, and then safely retracts
the needle back inside the housing. The comment routinely offered
upon use; “I never felt a thing!” Perhaps best of all,
you never see the needle™.
Confi·Dose™ is sold
by prescription, only. Confi·Dose™ can
be prepared with your prescribed dose of medication up to 0.5 ml.
Once your Confi·Dose™ is filled, it is completely
self contained and requires absolutely no preparation by you. Confi·Dose™ also
has a clear viewing window which allows quick dose inspection before
and after use.
Confi·Dose™ is cleared by FDA for subcutaneous and intracavernosal administration.
Our patented auto-injector technology
conceals a tiny 30 gauge needle inside your Confi·Dose™.
When you need your medicine, you select and clean your injection
site according to your doctor’s instructions. Next, remove
the safety cap exposing the activation button. You then twist the
button to disengage the device’s safety. Then you place the
nose of Confi·Dose™ against the site and just press
the button. An audible “click” signals that the medicine
is delivered. Because the needle exits the housing only during
injection and automatically retracts after the injection is completed,
it remains completely hidden from view. Because the needle is automatically
and permanently retracted, the risk of inadvertent needle stick
injury is virtually eliminated. After use, Confi·Dose™ can
be safely disposed of in accordance with local solid waste disposal
